Dr Gyakari Ampofo is a General Practitioner with broad clinical experience across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties. He has been practising medicine since graduating in 2012.
Prior to entering primary care, Dr Ampofo worked in hospital settings in both Ghana and the United Kingdom, gaining experience across paediatrics, internal medicine, general and orthopaedic surgery, emergency and acute medicine, geriatrics, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynaecology, neurology, diabetes and endocrinology, and ear, nose and throat (ENT) conditions.
Following completion of his postgraduate training in England, Dr Ampofo has worked across both primary care and urgent care settings, managing patients across all areas of general practice. He takes a holistic, evidence-based, and patient-centred approach to care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Ampofo holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Birmingham and a Diploma in Occupational Medicine from the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in the United Kingdom, supporting his interest in population health and workplace wellbeing.
