Dr Salem attained her bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery with honours in 2009. She gained a wide variety of experience over a 10 year period working in different hospital departments all over the UK namely in Acute medicine, Paediatrics, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Infectious diseases, psychiatry, ENT and in Emergency Medicine. She then decided that her true passion was in general practice in which she successfully completed her General practice training in the North East of England and has been a fully qualified GP for 4 years. Dr Salem is enthusiastic about teaching medical students and since qualifying as a GP, she went on to attain a post graduate certificate in Medical Education from Newcastle University. She then moved to London, where she attained a Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University alongside working as a GP. Dr Salem is passionate about several aspects of Primary Care, and has a keen interest in Women's & Children's health, Elderly care and Dermatalogy. Outside of work she enjoys going for walks with her husband, cycling and visiting Australia's great parks and beaches
