
General Practitioner
Dr Evans has been a practicing physician since 2014 after graduating from the University of Nottingham in the UK. He has been working as a GP since February 2022.
Prior to qualifying as a GP, Dr Evans gained experience working in multiple medical and surgical specialties including Paediatrics, Cardiology, Respiratory Medicine, Rheumatology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and ENT. He has a keen interest in acute and urgent care and has over 3 years of Emergency Medicine training in the UK and at Liverpool Hospital in NSW.
Prior to training as a physician, Dr Evans completed a Bachelors degree in Sport & Exercise Science at the University of Bath, and a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology, at Loughborough University, both of which are considered to be international leading institutions in these fields. With a key interest in lifestyle and exercise medicine, Dr Evans is able to apply principles learned from these qualifications, along with his clinical training, to help patients achieve the physical and mental health benefits associated with a healthy lifestyle and adequate levels of physical activity.
His primary care interests include musculoskeletal medicine, lifestyle medicine, men's health, and physical activity and health, however he will see patients with any common primary care issues including mental health problem, skin problems, ENT symptoms, Gastrointestinal complaints and women's health, to name just a few. He is also trained in performing joint injections.
Outside of work, he enjoys exercising, good food and spending time with his family.
